How does the Free plan actually work? Is there a time limit?

No time limits, no 14-day countdowns. You can track your first 20 projects created directly in Tasky completely for free. Plus, you can import as many past projects as you want from other apps—they are always unlimited and don't count toward your limit. We only want you to pay if Tasky is actually helping you make better pricing decisions for your future work.

Do I need a credit card to start?

No. You just sign in and start tracking your first 20 projects completely for free. You only pull out your card if you decide the app is worth it and want to upgrade to Pro.

What exactly happens after 20 free projects?

Once you hit the limit of 20 projects created in Tasky, you just won't be able to add new ones. But remember: imported projects are unlimited and don't count toward this limit. You'll always keep full, forever access to your history, past projects, and analytics. Your data is yours.

Does it only work with Upwork/Fiverr? What about currencies?

It works for everything. You can use any currency you want. We have quick one-click fee deductions for Fiverr and Upwork, but you can track direct clients, custom fees, or 0% fees just as easily.

Can I export my data?

Yes. We hate vendor lock-in as much as you do. You can always export your project data. You're not trapped here.

Are my income data and projects private? Can I cancel?

100% yes to both. Your data is securely hosted and private — only you see your clients and rates. And if you upgrade to Pro, you can cancel anytime with one click in your settings. No hidden buttons, no emailing support.

Can I generate invoices or client reports?

Nope. That's what Upwork, Fiverr, or your accountant is for. Tasky is built for YOU to track your real profitability, not to be another bloated agency dashboard. No useless PDF generators, just the data you actually care about.

How does Tasky handle projects that span multiple months?

It splits your earnings proportionally based on the hours you track each month. If you work 10 hours in Jan and 30 hours in Feb, Tasky automatically divides the project's net earnings accordingly. This way, your dashboard shows exactly what your time was worth each month, rather than a misleading lump sum at the end.

What if I forget to stop the timer? (Idle detection?)
